Against Pakistan in July 2022, he took 17 wickets in two Tests, including multiple five-wicket hauls, and was named Player of the Series. His performances against Ireland in April 2023 were equally noteworthy, where he took 17 wickets across two Tests, including a ten-wicket haul in the first match.
