Abbas joins the defiance - Enter Mohammad Abbas at number 11, who decided he wasn't going down quietly. Babar and Rizwan hold the line - With panic setting in, skipper Babar Azam stepped up to stem the tide and brought some composure back to the innings. Alongside Mohammad Rizwan, Babar ensured no further damage was done as Pakistan reached 28/3 in 10 overs at the Lunch break, still needing 183 runs for victory. With the pitch offering plenty of movement and the match balanced on a knife-edge, all eyes now turn to Pakistan’s premier batting duo to launch a high-stakes rescue mission in the afternoon session.

West Indian pacers unleash the chaos - Pakistan’s chase got off to a nightmare start as the hosts came out breathing fire with the new ball. Kemar Roach set the tone in the third over, producing a delivery that climbed sharply to edge out Imam-ul-Haq for 3. Jayden Seales then joined the destruction, inducing an edge from Azan Awais before trapping Salman Agha leg-before-wicket just two overs later. Within ten frantic overs, Pakistan's top order was blown away, leaving them staring at defeat at a shell-shocked 25/3.

Mohammad Ali produced a spectacular moment by diving forward to complete a stunning return catch off Amir Jangoo, leaving the hosts gasping at 30/3. Abbas strikes like lightning - Whatever celebration the West Indies enjoyed was short-lived as Pakistan came out breathing fire with the ball. Mohammad Abbas turned the game on its head in a single, devastating fifth over. First, he induced an edge from Brandon King, and just three balls later, he removed first-innings hero Kavem Hodge for a duck. In a flash, West Indies were stunned at 7/2, and their hard-earned lead suddenly felt paper-thin.

Nervy session leaves Pakistan 8 down - Pakistan trail West Indies by 44 runs at the Lunch break, having lost eight wickets. The morning started with so much promise that turned into a nervy, attritional battle. It won't be a surprise if the tail enders start swinging the bat just after the break is over. They would be happy if they get a lead out of it, but their focus would be on how to get through the opposition's top order before the end of the day. On the other hand, it's no brainer that the hosts would like to bundle out Pakistan and start their second batting innings as fast as they can. Alright folks, the Lunch break is set to wrap up at around 4.40 pm GMT, so make sure you are back in time and glued to your screens, as you would not want to miss a single moment of what has been a riveting encounter. Windies roar back - The morning session, however, told a story of West Indies fighting back with tremendous heart. Pakistan trailed by 75 runs as the session deepened, and West Indies' bowlers, led by a disciplined Shamar Joseph and the lively Justin Greaves. In the first hour, they were getting fortunate enough to get the wickets, but just after the drinks break, they were back in action. They kept chipping away at regular intervals and refusing to let Pakistan's lower middle order settle. First it started with Salman Agha, none other than Joseph, who stepped up to break the 47-strong partnership. Then Greaves got the wicket of Masood, who scored 109 off 184 balls. After that, it was Mohammad Rizwan, Aamer Jamal and Ali Usman who fell in the session, and each dismissal gave the Brian Lara Stadium crowd a fresh burst of noise and energy.

LUNCH BREAK - Day 3 at the Brian Lara Stadium began with all eyes on one man, Shan Masood, resuming on an overnight 88, closing in on what would be a monumental seventh Test century and his first since being stripped of the Pakistan captaincy. Masood had ridden his luck throughout his innings, surviving edges through the slip cordon and a sharp chance to Jomel Warrican, but he had grown in stature with every over, and his composure at the crease alongside Salman Agha gave Pakistan every reason for optimism heading into the morning. Cracks were already visible around the good length areas at the Brian Lara Stadium, and the surface was beginning to show its age, and one that would demand everything from Pakistan's batters.
